ML: Yohane

Yohane is 13 years old and in the 7th grade. He has 2 other siblings, all under the care of their pastor, a PHGN Ministry Partner. Their parents are gone and only their grandmother is alive to care for them. As the oldest, Yohane is farthest behind in school and needs our help.  

ML: Praise

Praise is a 12 year old boy in the 6th grade and needs our help. His single mother is raising Praise and his 3 siblings with the little income she makes doing odd jobs. It's not enough to meet their many needs.  

ML: Ireen

Ireen is a 12 year old girl and one of 4 children. The father divorced the mother and left them without any support. The mother is doing whatever work she can to earn an income to care for the children. Ireen's older sister has already dropped out of school to become a housemaid. 

ML: Shyreen

Shyreen is the twin sister of Ireen. Both girls are 12 years old and in the 6th grade.  Shyreen's father divorced her mother and left them without support. The mother is doing whatever work she can to earn an income, but it is not enough to care for her four children. Shyreen needs the help of a loving sponsor. 

ML: Debora

This tiny girl is 11 years old.  Her two siblings are also in our Sponsorship Program.  Each of the children's fathers abandoned them.  The single mother fled the country in search of a better life.  Debora lives with her grandmother who is unable to keep food on the table consistently, let alone provide for school fees.  This child needs a helping hand.

ML: Dorica

Precious Dorica is only 6 years old and the youngest of her siblings, who are also a part of our Sponsorship Program.  Dorica's father abandoned the family.  Her mother fled the country in search of a better life.  She now lives with her grandmother, who is too poor to keep food on the table let alone provide for school fees.  A sponsor would mean so much to her!

ML: Ruth

Ruth is 13 years old.  Her father died when she was very young and her mother has suffered with mental illness and cannot care for her.  She was sent to live with her grandmother, who suddenly died.  Ruth was taken into the home of our Ministry Partner since then and has no other support.  Ruth struggles with a hearing problem which makes life even more challenging for her.  

ML: Mercy

Mercy is 9 years old and lives with her single mother and sister, who is also in our Sponsorship Program.  Her father died when Mercy was 2 years old.  Her mother has been unable to find steady work, and does what she can to keep food on the table.  School is a luxury for them and Mercy will need a sponsor to continue her education.  

ML: Clara

Clara is 12 years old and lives with her little sister and single mother in poverty.  Her father died when she was 5 years old and her mother has been unable to find steady work.  She does what she can to keep food on the table.  An education is Clara's hope for ending the cycle of poverty for her family.


ML: Jeffrey

Jeffrey is 8 years old and in the 1st grade.  His single mother does laundry to provide food for her family.  He dreams of being a policeman when he grows up.
