The PHGN Team consists of a group of part-time staff and volunteers who give of their time, energy, talent and resources to assist with the growing work.
Executive Council
Pastors Wole and Azuka Gbogboade
Pastors Wole and Azuka Gbogboade were the overseers of Christ Family Evangelical Church in Alagbado, Nigeria and have a discipleship ministry to the African Nations. He served as the first Director of HCI Africa in Nigeria until he recently entered Heaven's reward. Azuka founded Christlight Schools and Deborah’s Arise in Nigeria and is the Prayer Ministry Coordinator for PHGN. Pastor Azuka remains an important part of our Executive Council.
Fred & Denise Cantu
Fred and Denise Cantu are PHGN pastors who serve on the leadership team of United Tribes for Christ. Denise is a prophetess who leads the Prophetic Presbytery of the Potter's House Family Worship Center, where Fred serves as an Elder, as well. They are parents and grandparents who have a passion for the generations to know and follow Christ.
Caleb Ives
Caleb is the son of Ron & Carla Ives and director of Emmaus Bible Ministries, based in Oviedo, Florida. He and his wife also serve in the area of discipleship and worship in two Florida churches, as well as leading prayer/worship sessions in their home for those hungry for more of God. They have four daughters. Apart from serving on the PHGN Executive Council, Caleb has a heart to grow the PHGN discipleship ministry in Nigeria, impacting the continent of Africa.
Apostle James L. Glenn
Apostle James L. Glenn has a Bachelor’s degree in Business and training in Christian Studies. He has been the pastor of Center of Attraction Outreach in Saginaw, MI for 41 years and was Married to the late Leona Glenn for 46 years. He has three children and nine grandchildren. He has a heart for his city, state and the nations. His favorite scripture is Ephesians 1:17-19.
Staff & Volunteers
Alero Omatseye PHGN Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant
Alero has actively served in church ministry as an usher, chorister, and welfare minister, with her most recent role as a women's leader. She founded and developed the women's unit in a church in Nigeria, fostering growth, unity, and community among its members. Professionally, she is a chemical engineer, business developer/strategist, and project manager. She recently graduated from Central Michigan University and is currently focused on deepening her relationship with the Lord and caring for her family.
Chris Zeien
PHGN Child Sponsorship Director
Chris Zeien was a librarian and school teacher before joining the PHGN team. She and her husband, Gerald, both served as Board Members with Heart Cry International and helped pioneer the Sponsorship Program that now continues under PHGN.
Brionna Homan PHGN Intern/Translation Projects
Brionna Homan is the granddaughter of Pastor Ron and Carla Ives and a member of the PHFWC youth ministry. Brionna interns with us in the area of international communication and translation projects.
Isha Walter
PHGN Child Sponsorship Administrative Assistant
Isha Walter served in the military before marrying and beginning her family. She now operates several businesses with her husband, Dale Walter. They have two beautiful girls and attend The Potter's House Family Worship Center. Isha has a huge heart for PHGN's Child Sponsorship Program and visited our team in Uganda last year!
Channele Robinson PHGN Website & Social Media Assistant
Channele Robinson is currently a full-time student studying Communications and Media & Cinematic Arts. She keeps our website up-to-date with our latest & upcoming events and resources and will soon be managing our social media page.
Nkechi Mgbanwa PHGN Discipleship Schools Assistant
Nkechi Mgbanwa is a disciple of Jesus Christ with Masters degree in International Administration and Information Systems. She has a heart for God and His Kingdom and sees herself as an Ambassador of the Kingdom, often referring to herself as God's Diplomat.
