Special Projects
2024
Every year PHGN works with selected Ministry Partners to do special projects to advance ministry, discipleship, and/or humanitarian care to churches and communities, especially children. Over the years we have networked with other organizations and donors to dig a well in a remote village, build a doctor's home/clinic, free slave families, or give children in 15 countries a real Christmas blessing. You can see photos of some of these projects as you scroll down our page. So far in 2024, through networking with others, we have been able to be a part of freeing 40 families in Pakistan from slavery, enabling them to start new lives. PHGN continues to share in the discipleship and rehabilitation of these precious families. What joy!

The approximate cost for freeing a family is $400.
In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, there is war. We are working with our Ministry Partner there to care for orphans of war at Bethesda Orphan's Home in two ways. We are accepting donations to help provide needed personal items, food, beds, and rent to keep the children safe. We partner to provide child care training, discipleship materials, and more for the team caring for the children. We also began an orphan sponsorship program to provide for the little ones who have lost both parents and are struggling even more than the others. Sponsorships are $35 per month.
In Nigeria, our home church that serves as a base for PHGN ministry is underwater much of the time due to continuous flooding. The walls and floors are deteriorating and a new location is needed. You can watch a video about the flooding below. The original property we hoped to purchase is no longer an option and we are raising funds to purchase land with an existing building. Our goal is still approximately $30,000. We will need to have the funds on-hand to be able to purchase the property when we find it.
Any size donation towards this project would be a huge blessing!

PHGN Christmas Fund Drive! In November of every year, we raise funds to provide a Christmas blessing for all of the children served in 15 nations through our Ministry Partners. Depending upon the level of need, the donation may provide personal care items, clothing, food, a Christmas meal, or even presents! We divide the Christmas Fund between the nations the first week of December and happily share the photos and testimonies that come rolling over the holiday. Any size donation makes a difference. We are the only source for these children's Christmas and appreciate your support!
All Christmas donations must be submitted by December 1, 2024.
