A Little Goes a Long Way

This morning I received an email from our Ministry Partner in the Democratic Republic of the Congo that reminded me why I love what I do. The email was filled with photos and videos from an IDP Camp showing 750 children receiving basic school supplies of notebooks, pens, and chalk. The excitement was LOUD! They thanked “Mama Carla” in the video, but the donation came from people like you - others who care and want to help children who are often invisible to most. These children are only part of the growing number of children living in the camp who have lost homes, villages, family, while experiencing and seeing things no child should. There are over 1,100 our $1000 donation wasn’t able to provide school supplies for. But there were no complaints. Only joy. One donation provided school supplies for 750 children being ministered to by our Ministry Partner’s team - they are cooperating with local government to offer some education and specialized Christian discipleship and we get to be a part. Today, I’m celebrating what our God can do with whatever we give to Him. It’s a happy day! :) Thank you for being a part of this.
